Built in Infra-Red Remote Control and Projector Trigger
All Grandview Cyber electric screens feature built in infra-red remote control and come with a simple hand held remote. The IR receiver is located on the front of the curved case but should the screen be installed behind a pelmet or recessed into the ceiling, a small external IR eye is included. Also included is a 12volt trigger input, this allows the screen to be activated from any projector or surround sound amp with a 12volt output. A 10m mono mini jack cable is supplied to connect the screen to a 12volt output device.

Optional End Cap
Grandview now offer an IP control option for the electric and tab tensioned screens. The electronics in the end cap will also allow the screen to be operated via infra red and closed contact operation. This is an additional cost which should be ordered in advance.

Case and Motor Design
The aluminium diamond white case has an elegant curved profile making it one of the nicest looking screens on the market. The rigid sturdy design keeps the internal roller perfectly straight and any motor noise to a minimum. The Grandview Cyber series projector screens all use SOMFY motors, the same motors found in the likes of Dalite and Stuart cinema screens.

Mounting Bracket
Grandview Cyber projection screens feature one of the best mounting systems on the market. Two small brackets fit to the wall or ceiling anywhere along the length of the case. Once the screen is clipped into the brackets a retaining bolt secures it in position. The screen can only be lifted off the brackets when the bolt is released.

Other features and measurements
Just like televisions, projector screens are measured in imperial feet and inches. The screen is measured by the width of the material from left to right. The standard sizes are 6ft, 7ft, 8ft and 9ft. The viewable area is the white part of the screen which is slightly smaller due to the surrounding black borders. The screens top black border can be adjusted from 0 to 20″/50cm to give the desired screen position.

All electric projector screens come with a large black border, which can be adjusted with the allen key supplied with the screen.

6ft Electric Screen comes with a 850mm Black border
7ft Electric Screen comes with a 650mm Black border
8ft Electric Screen comes with a 500mm Black border
9ft Electric Screen comes with a 400mm Black border
10ft Electric Screen comes with a 300mm Black border

The quality of material is the most important aspect of any projection screen. Most screens on the market will use a very basic compressed cloth type material resulting in a creased surface and poor contrast performance.

The Grandview Cyber Series projection screens use a US manufactured high quality multi ply material with a high contrast and low gain of 1.1. The Projection screen material is tear resistant, fireproof, wrinkle proof and is designed to hang perfectly flat. The centre layer is a glass fibre net producing a flex rate of less than 1% compared with the industry average of 33%. The front layer optimises contrast and reflectivity while a black PVC backing prevents light leakage and helps retain a uniformly flat projection surface.
